"The Eucharist is
God's greatest gift to us -
it is where Jesus'
heart meets the
needs of the world
on a daily
basis." - Bl James Alberione
Portiuncula Chapel at Franciscan
University ~ Ohio, USA
"The true hour of
Eucharistic adoration,
the true
visit, is like the soul which pervades all
the
hours, occupations, thoughts,
relations of our day.
It is the lymph or vital current that influences everything
and communicates its spirit even to the most
ordinary things.
It forms the spirituality
that is lived and
communicated.
It forms the spirit of prayer which, when
cultivated,
transforms every work into
prayer."
Bl James Alberione
Bl James was a priest and founder of the Pauline Family, who daily
celebrated the Eucharist and spent four to five hours in Adoration. The
Eucharist was central to his day, sustaining an active apostolic life. He
developed a Pauline method of Eucharistic Adoration that is scripturally based
and easy to use. The hour is divided into three parts or "moments", based on
Jesus as our Way, Truth and Life: Adoring Jesus' Truth, Following Jesus' Way,
Sharing Jesus' Life.
This link expounds on the method.
