Gift upon gift... grace upon grace...

Out of the good treasure of His heart
He bringeth forth that which is good. ~ Luke 6:45

Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament by Lawrence OP.

"Prayer ought to be humble, fervent, resigned,
persevering and accompanied with great reverence.
One should consider that he stands
in the presence of a Godand speaks
with a Lord before whom the angels
tremble with awe and fear."

 MEMORIAL DAY - 25 May 2020
Eternal remembrance and gratitude for the innumerable, generous,
courageous, self-sacrificing and heroic acts of service – seen and unseen.
We don't know them all, but we owe them all.

A Prayer for Memorial Day Weekend
Good and Gracious Father, watch over and sustain
those men and women who serve our nation at home and abroad
and have mercy upon those who have died in the cause of freedom.
Bring them all safely into your kingdom of justice and peace.
We ask this though Jesus Christ our Lord. R/. Amen

TODAY: Day 4
Novena to the Holy Spirit

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful,
and enkindle in them the fire of Your love.
Send forth Your Spirit, and they shall be created,
And You shall renew the face of the earth.
O God, Who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts
of Your faithful, grant that by that same Holy Spirit,
we may be truly wise and ever rejoice
in His consolation, through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
