the one inexhaustible sweet fact 
of the Real Presence. 

In the hands of the priest, 
behind the crystal of the monstrance,

on the tongue of the communicant, 
now, and for a thousand times,

and almost at our will and pleasure, 
there are the Hands and Feet,

the Eyes and Mouth, 
the swift Blood and living Heart of Him

whom Thomas touched and Magdalen was fain to touch,

the Soul that ... set the prisoners free."

Novena to the Holy Spirit

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful,

and enkindle in them the fire of Your love.

 Send forth Your Spirit, and they shall be created,
And You shall renew the face of the earth.

O God, Who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts

of Your faithful, grant that by that same Holy Spirit,

we may be truly wise and ever rejoice

in His consolation, through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
