Accepting what is given...

And he (angel Gabriel) came to her (Mary) and said,
"Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!" - Luke 1:28

"The Lord whom the Mother bears
and the Lord in the Host are the same,
and this one Lord has only one thought:
to give Himself away, to share His very substance,
in an infinite manner.

The Mother understood this from the beginning
and never bore anything in mind
except giving the Son to the  world."

Feast of the Maternity of Mary (Trad)
October 11

"If anyone does not believe that Holy Mary is Mother of God, he is outside the divine order. If anyone shall say that Christ flowed through the Virgin as through a channel, and was not formed in her in a fashion both divine and human . . . such a one too is an atheist. If anyone shall say that (in the case of Christ) first a man was made and that afterwards God entered into Him-he is subject to damnation." ~ Saint Gregory Nazianzen, Doctor of the Church

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now
and at the hour of our death!
